MARINER VOCABULARY

MARINER TERMS -  a VOCABULARY List of Nautical Words

How to say back , front of a ship, what are the right ways to point to a part of the boat. Bearing in mind this comes from a complete novice landrat.. I am going to go slowly and just add words as I come across their uses whilst observing container ships going about their business. Both in inland waterway navigation , or the proper dutch term of Binnenvaart ( Binnenschifffahrt in german with 3 fff in the middle) as well as observing the larger container ships when i get a chance to find a webcam featuring them.
